Personal opinion: I'm never going to be superb in French, due my immediate disadvantage of starting nine years after any of my French comrades and because this language is (in my mind) one of the most stupid, unlogical and highly complicated languages I've ever experienced. Although to be fair I do only know two languages but I know which one I'd pick ANY day.

Personal opinion: Even though History doesn't quite grab me in the way that it once did (probably due to a Teacher that just drones on) that isn't stopping me from obtaining my perfect sixteen-or-more score that I've held for the past few years. History is easy, plain and simple. Just a few dates and events to learn after all...

Personal opinion: English is really a blast. Its nice to wake up in the morning and KNOW that you're going to at least get full marks on one subject in this Trimestre. I know what you're thinking, I was beat by another english person. Well take into account that I've been top of the Class in the last Trimestre and if you add the totals up I actually beat her by 0,10%. So technically I win Overall! Not that I'm desperate to be top of the Class or anything...

Personal opinion: German wasn't that difficult this Trimestre due to the Teacher being largely absent for most of it. We only had about four Tests, and two of them were the same Test twice! And they weren't even difficult, just look at the Class average. So really happy with German this Trimestre, but that doesn't nessecarily mean its much of an accomplishment.

Personal opinion: I said in a previous Blog Post that Maths is comparable to Lord Of The Rings in the sense that just when I manage to climb a tall mountain an even bigger mountain looms ahead. I wasn't kidding, Maths is a real tug of war and sometimes I lose. However, I can now happily say that I've won more than I've lost, which is more than what I was expecting because this Trimestre started BAD. Like 7/20 bad. So I have won the battle and triumphed over my arch-nemesis (there were a few casualties mind). But will I win the war? I suppose we'll just have to wait til' the end of 3eme..

Personal opinion: To be honest I find S.V.T to be a bit of a bore, and uninteresting. In this Trimestre it brought up one of the most embarassing topics I've ever had to endure: the dreaded SEX EDUCATION. Thank GOD it's all over now, another Week and I'd have been a whimpering mess on the floor! As far as Results go it went well, I could have gone higher though if I didn't fail that certain S-E-X Test though...

Personal opinion: Science is alright. This Trimestre had us fiddling around with lightbulbs and wires, which at times was fun. If it wasn't for that final Test where I got 17,50/20 the Result would have been lower as I was barely scraping 14/20 for most of this Trimestre (mainly due to stupid errors). Science continues to be a good subject for me.

Personal opinion: Technology was mainly good for the majority of this Trimestre, though I'm not liking the house modeling thing we've been doing. It really is one of the most easiest subjects ever, not counting English of course. You don't even have to revise for anything! Although Technology isn't actually about Computers, T.Vs and stuff like that its been a good and interesting lesson all year round. Of course I'm Top Of The Class, but then why wouldn't I be? Not that I'm making out to be an egg head or something, but when your Class sucks really hard the people with at least half a brain shine through.

Personal opinion: Well Art isn't really a lesson to start with, its just some creative fun. I don't really know what we were tested on, perhaps he secretly evaluated our methodes or something? We haven't had any proper Tests, he's just given us a task every Week and we do it. I didn't see him taking out notes and writing down stuff at all, so how the hell has the Teacher evaluated us? Anyway, Art was really fun for this Trimestre. And how am I Top Of The Class, AGAIN?

Personal opinion: Music is alright. I wish we'd stop listening to stuff from the 1800s though, get more modern! The scores are just as high, but they would be even higher if it wasn't for that damn Flute Test! Nah, Music has become one of my best subjects now. Again, it was just a case of revising your ass off, no real effort required.

Personal opinion: First of all, how come I have a higher score in Sport than in Maths, French AND S.V.T? Surely there is some error, I am atrocious in pretty much EVERY aspect of physical fitness! Perhaps I got a sh*t load of points from Wrestling? They certainly didn't come from Frisbee! Or perhaps I'm not as bad as I thought I was? We may never know...

Overall Personal opinion on this Trimestre: This has been a FANTASTIC third Trimestre, and I'm some how continuing to perform better than the previous one! To be honest I'm shocked, I thought the 2nd Trimestre was BY FAR the Overall winner of the Year. Obviously I was wrong, as my Overall Score has seemingly been jacked up quite a bit since the first one...

Overall Score: 15,83/20! So my Highest Score yet then...
Then again I was Top Of The Class in no less than FIVE out of the eleven subjects this time around and pretty good with most of the remaining ones (excluding French, which was simply lukewarm). Guess that figures.

Overall Personal opinion on the entire Year: This has undoubtably been a good year for me School-wise. The Results keep getting better and I'm arguably Top Of The Class for this Trimestre. 4eme did have some difficult parts though, most notably the month of January right before Les Epreuves Communes where I quite literally tore my hair out in the sheer stress of it all (well okay not LITERALLY but you get the idea). If that was what I was like during the Les Epreuvres Communes period then who knows what I'll be like during Le Brevet! The Class has also got increasingly rebellious over the Year that I've known it. Heck, a few Weeks ago they chucked an egg at the board! There will be a few people in my Class redoubling this Year...
And alot of it was boring, but then again it is School so perhaps I was hoping for a miracle here. When I'll look back at this School Year, I won't remember anything special, just business as usual I suppose...
But through both bad times and boring times, and the occasional (although rare) fun times, this has been a real victory for Timothy Reader.

Well done Tim! You've worked hard and have gotten excellent results. This is an amazing achievement even without taking into consideration the fact that you've done it in a foreign language. I hope your parents are very proud of you. Congratulations you've earned your summer holiday :-)
