My Report: Second Trimestre 2011 (November - Febuary)

My Report for the Second Trimestre has arrived! I suppose you want me to dissect everything again now don't you? You'll find the Report  and my examination below:

French: 12,15/20 

Teacher: Mme Carre 

Comments: 'Overall it's correct. Despite his gaps, Timothy provides some serious work. Do not be discouraged.' 

Class average: 12,06/20

Highest Score in Class: 17,83/20

Lowest Score in Class: 7,39/20

Personal opinion: Actually its this subject that I'm most surprised with! Normally my grade in French is never more than around 10/20. So it was nice to buck the trend a little bit and have an increase of three points since the last Trimestre. I suppose I just got a few more points on each Test (usually due to presentation, or a few sentences that get you an extra point or so on) and those +1s built up a little. Also the fact that there wasn't as many dud dictations that I failed to even scrape 1/10. Happy that I've finally broke even in French, even if the Result is hardly commendable.

History - Geography: 16,70/20

Teacher: Mme Carre

Comments: 'Exellent Trimestre! Tim really proves his capacites. Continue like this!' 

Class average: 11,68/20 

Highest Score in Class: 16,70/20 (which I'm assuming is me)

Lowest Score in Class: 6/20 (OUCH!) 

Personal opinion: I'm still top of the Class, but if it wasn't for that 14,5/20 in Les Epreuves Communes I would have got 18/20 just like in the last Trimestre. DAMMIT! To be perfect on nearly everything and then kinda blow it with the most important one is a real bummer. Disappointed.

English: 19,67/20 

Teacher: M. Onno, Edwards Greg

Comments: 'Excellent mastery of his native language.' 

Class average: 11,72/20 (and that's with TWO English in the Class)

Highest Score in Class: 19,88/20 (NOOO, SO CLOSE! 0,31 AWAY!) 

Lowest Score in Class: 7,04/20

Personal opinion: I'm English. Heck getting a 20/20 is like taking candy from a Baby here. Although I'm perhaps to overconfident, because I do make the SIMPLEST of mistakes in a few Tests that Results in me being 0,31 away from becoming Top of the Class! It also helps that the subject attracts really awesome Teachers aswell.

Teacher: Mme Etore (aka the strictest Teacher alive)

Comments: 'Excellent work. Timothy is a serious and thorough student. Timothy should try to be more active in Class.'

Class average: 16,48/20

Highest Score in Class: 19,36/20 

Lowest Score in Class: 10,14/20 

Personal opinion: German was mostly non-existent for this Trimestre, mainly because the Teacher was absent for more than ONE MONTH! My Result is surprising, seen as I got a few 14,5/20s that must have lowered my score. I doubt I'll be able to top this in the third Trimestre.

Maths: 13,50/20

Teacher: Mme Gandon-Desbois

Comments: 'Serious progress this Trimestre. Timothy has retaken his Score. Continue the same.' 

Class average: 13,65/20

Highest Score in Class: 18,20/20

Lowest Score in Class: 6/20 (Impossible! S-I-X?) 

Personal opinion: I have gained a staggering five points this Trimestre. The Tests have noticeably gotten easier though, and we tend to less rush things now. So it looks like the Teacher's new tactic has worked for the most part. But its still really complicated and difficult to understand at times.

S.V.T: 14,50/20 

Teacher: Mme Gandon-Desbois

Comments: 'Serious work. He must continue and participate a bit more.'

Class average: 10,57/20

Highest Score in Class: 16,83/20

Lowest Score in Class: 3,17 (WHAAAT?) 

Personal opinion: To be honest I don't really care about S.V.T. Its one of those subjects that I neither hate or like, its just a bit 'meh'. I suppose thats true for my Result aswell, I don't revise as much for S.V.T compared to the other subjects, I just get the job done.

Science: 15,64/20

Teacher: M. Begoc

Comments: 'Good Overall for this Trimestre. Timothy does some serious work.'

Class average: 11,17/20

Highest Score in Class: 16,55/20

Lowest Score in Class: 4,80/20

Personal opinion: Science is always a good lesson for me, mainly because it doesn't give us a SH*T ton of Homework to do! The Tests can be a bit on the hard side at times though. As long as my Score stays in the 15-16/20 area I'll be happy.

Technology: 17,83/20

Teacher: M. Bastide

Comments: 'Excellent work. Mature attitude faced with investigations' 

Class average: 12,66/20

Highest Score in Class: 17,83/20 (another win for me!)

Lowest Score in Class: 7/20 

Personal opinion: I've mostly liked Technology this Trimestre, we're spending more time on the Computer researching stuff and less time with pen and paper. Why can't every lesson be like this?

Teacher: M. Riallin 

Comments: 'Excellent Results, excellent work. Felicitations!' 

Class average: 13,95/20

Highest Score in Class: 17/20 (Me, AGAIN!)

Personal opinion: Yeah Art is fun. I can't draw very well but my ideas are good enough. We've been mostly doing short films and little creative stuff like that, which are fun. So less drawing, more creativity?

Comments: 'Always excellent work. Felicitations!'

Highest Score in Class: 18,75/20

Lowest Score in Class: 9,50/20

Personal opinion: Music is kinda boring for me. Sure I get perfect marks with each Test (I'll think you'll find the rendition on the flute brought by Score down) but its more of a points grabber than anything else. I just see it as a way of boosting my Overall Score. And can we actually listen to some new Music for a change? We're constantly listening to Music from the 16-18th Century!

Sport: 11,50/20 (so my lowest Score of the Trimestre)

Teacher: M. Dany 

Comments: 'Overall its a bit medicore.'

Class average: 13,74/20

Highest Score in Class: 16,50/20

Lowest Score in Class: 11/20 

Personal opinion: Sport isn't a good subject for me. It would help if we don't do exactly the same Sports every year: Endurance, Baseball, Ping-Pong, Acrobatic Gymnastics... to be honest the only new thing we've done so far this year is wrestling. And I suck at it aswell, which is the fault of my flabby prison. Oh well, at least it can't get worst after Ping-Pong right?

Overall School Life Score (attitude in Class ect...): 20/20 (as per usual..)

Overall opinion: 'Overall very satisfactory. The work is serious and one of quality in most of the subjects. However, Tim must do some efforts in participation. Felicitations!'

Overall Score:  Considering that nearly every single subject has gone up in, Maths and French have gone up eight points altogether! Well Overall I've managed to pull in a very good 15,76/20! I don't know what the highest Score in the Class is but I can't imagine anyone getting much more than that. I recon that if I was a bit better at Sport I would have passed 16/20 easy. The real question is, how can I beat this Score now?

Overall Personal opinion: Well I think this has been a pretty sterling Trimestre for me. Certainly my best Report ever. How can I beat this now though? I mean aside from Sport and French, everything has been good or excellent. And even French is the highest Score I've ever got in the subject! I mean to get any more I'd have to quite literally understand something about French grammar! Looks like all that hard work revising has finally paid off (and Homework contributed approximately 0% to these Results, just pointless exercises all year round)....
